JobNow^TM is an online resource for job seekers available ABSOLUTELY FREE to patrons of the Cohocton Public Library!

JobNow^TM can help you at any stage of your job search.

Some services offered through JobNow^TM include:

• Resume templates
• Professional resume editing - just upload your resume and within 24 hours (or, if on a weekend, by the next business day), an expert will have reviewed it and provided you with comments and suggestions for improvement. This service allows you to make sure you are sending out your best possible resume!
• Live, one-on-one interview practice with real career coaches. These coaches conduct practice job interviews and give you feedback on your interviewing skills to help you improve.
• A search engine specifically dedicated to job postings.
• Career assessments - perfect for helping you determine in what field you might like to work.
  
• An adult learning center, with test preparation materials for exams such as the GED exam and the U.S. citizenship exam. The Adult Learning Center also provides practice materials for anyone who wishes to brush up on his or her math, reading, or writing skills!

JobNow^TM can be accessed from any computer. Simply go to www.novelnewyork.org and click on "Use JobNow^TM" at the top of the page. You will be prompted to enter your NYS DMV number before you can officially access the JobNow^TM site, so be sure to have your driver's license/learner's permit/non-driver ID handy!
